Review

The name of this series truly says it all, you get byte sized stories of terror. We as a society are inching so close to being unable to function without technology. Every day we are closer to the society depicted in Wall-E, but what if we allow that technology to determine our guilt. That is where we meet Enzo. He is convicted of a crime without knowing what that crime is or what the sentence will be and the technology of his home locks him out of him being able to use it. He is then told to enter his window portal and he is disapearred to his prison.

Enzo like any of us, tries to figure out his surrounding and that is where the terror truly begins. Like quicksand, the more he tries to figure out the prison, the further down he falls. Hope for him seems like a distant star. I would not want to be in his shackles.

As easy it is for us to use technology for the betterment of society, there are tons of ways for techology to fail us even while carrying out their function perfectly. Techology cannot be our judge and jury.

The art and colors look great. The pacing and movement across the page works so well that you just flow seamlessly to each panel . There is a grittiness to the art that shows the wear and tear of the world that makes it feel so real and alive.

Pick it up and any of the back issues or you can wait another 5 month for the Trade to be released on May 5th.
