A Snowman, an Exotic Zookeeper and A Snarf: Advanced Review of the ThunderCats Ho!Liday Special 2025

At Comic Book Yeti, We were lucky enough to get an advanced look at several of the books from Dynamite Entertainment coming out on December 17, 2025.
Among the selections of books they offered, the 1st one that piqued my interest was ThunderCats Ho!liday Special 2025 #1.
Here are 3 covers, 1st by Sebastian Piriz, 2nd by Fabio Gallo and 3rd by Robert "Bob" Quinn. They're all great.
Review
The book is a one-shot set on Third Earth, the planet the ThunderCats call home. The THUNDA-TANK (how I hear it in my head) breaks down due to some unforeseen circumstances in a very cold area and a mysterious person attacks them.
The story does quite a few things in a short period, it introduces a few new characters, it give Panthro (my favorite ThunderCat) a chance to shine and is resolved in just 40 pages.
If you like holiday specials of all sorts you will like this book. I was excited to read this when it was first solicited as I made it one of my picks during my October 2025 solicits
The art is well done and easy to distinguish the action. The writing is great and the character dynamics are spot on, which makes sense as Ed Brisson is also writing ThunderCats Lost. The colors are great and work perfectly for the scene. The lettering is what you want from great lettering, it blends seamlessly into the comics.

While on a mission in the snowy mountains of Third Earth, the ThunderCats stumble across Snowman, the last of his people, on the eve of the Festival of the Claw - a day of celebration, food, and gifts, and a time for Snowman to pay tribute to those he's lost.
