SPELUNKING THE SOLICITS November 2025

I don't know about you, but for me October was an exhausting month. Constantly on the go and rarely any breaks. I'm glad to get back to reading about comics once more. So pack your bags, tie onto our line, light your headlamps and come cave diving with us as we do our best to find the most exciting titles being offered in your local comic shops. We hope these will excite you enough to search out further books being offered and most of all encourage you to consider pre-ordering.

You see, the reader can pop into any shop and pick up a comic book, no fuss no muss, but for maximum impact of the series health and for the benefit of the creators, pre-ordering the books would be the best. To best help creators, we will bring to you our individual top 5--top 10-- NO, our TOP 7 list of favorite announced books for the month. In hopes you too will join us in pre-ordering from your Local Comic Shop! (LCS)

My lawsuit of Comic Yeti last month has failed. My attempt to become the consortium owner is failed. Fitting for my last every Yeti article I am the last person listed on the article. 1. Where Does The Rainbow End? #1 (Mad Cave) $4.99 ORDER CODE: 1125MA0765

   a. I am a sucker for a story about a young human with a robot protector. I know based on the previous work from Francesca Perillo and Stefano Cardoselli that this story is going to hit hard.

   

2. Pink Monsters HC (Oni Press) $29.99 ORDER CODE: 1125ON0848

   a. This American debut of a German artist, Claus Daniel Herrmann, features a coming of age story of a teenage artist finally coming to terms with being gay. But when his father falls ill, all confidence of his decisions also fall away. This looks to be a powerful story based on the previews.

   

3. White Shadows HC (Oni Press) $24.99 ORDER CODE: 1125ON0860

   a. Political intrigue, fantasy monsters and gorgeous artwork the White Shadows preview pages have in spades. Creators Antoine Ozanam and Antoine Carrion are promising George RR Martin level depth to this comic story.

   

4. Blood Honey TPB (IDW) $9.99 ORDER CODE: 9798887244204

   a. I have long been a fan of comic creator Sean Peacock and am way too excited to see his comics find a larger audience. Blood Honey has two high school sweethearts grow apart and each decide they are better off with the other dead.

   

5. Alice Forever After #1 (Boom) $4.99 ORDER CODE: 84428401291101011

   a. Recently I have gotten into Boom's series Briar and now they are offering a new series called Alice Forever After. This series seems more in line with the movie Hook, with an older Alice having to deal with her past in wonderland.

   

6. The Croaking TPB (Rocketship) $19.99 ORDER CODE: 0725RE742

   a. In a world with a winged military, a prestigious academy is letting in a misfit crow. The Croaking is a collection of the popular 2020 webcomic by Megan Grey.

   

7. Spectrum HC (Mad Cave) ORDER CODE: 1125MA0754

   a. I have long been trumpeting my love of the series Spectrum by Rick Quinn and Dave Chisholm. Luckily the series is being collected in hardcover format so that I can finally tell you all here on this site to BUY THIS BOOK! Rick is one smart writer and Dave is one of the more imitative comic artists going right now.
