Skybound Comet Announces Its First Middle-Grade OGN

Image Comics imprint Skybound Comet has announced their first middle grade (ages 8-12) original graphic novel in Everyday Hero Machine Boy.


This graphic novel is a manga-inspired superhero tale is about a robot boy who crash lands in the dome city of Mega 416 leaving a path of destruction in his wake. That is when Karate Grampa comes along and activates Machine Boy's heart, and trains him to be a hero. He spends most of his time trying to do good for others by fighting giant bugs, and rescuing cats from trees when he discovers his heart is interacting dangerously with debris from space.


Machine Boy is created by Tri Vuong (Lego Ninjago: Garmadon), and Irma Kniivila (The Crosswind Café, Ronin Island).


Everyday Hero Machine Boy joins Clemintine: Book One by Tillie Walden, and Sea Serpent's Heir by Mairghread Scott & Pablo Tunica as part of Skybound Comet's first slate of graphic novels. You can preview the OGN below.
