New News: WARHAUSEN enters the Comics Arena in April

“Wrestling’s Wildest Renegades” Confront a “Gateway to Oblivion” in a Special One-Shot

WARHAUSEN, the official comic adaptation of independent professional wrestling’s biggest superstars is set to debut on Kickstarter in April 2020. The comic stars record-setting IndependentWrestling. TV champion WARHORSE (@JPWarhorse), social media sensation and Ring of Honor star Danhausen (@DanhausenAD), and Allie Kat (@meowdyxyall), one of the toughest and most notorious women’s wrestlers in the United States. Together, they will take on current SoCal Pro Wrestling tag team champion Mr. Impressive (@iammrimpressive), a Silver Age-inspired master manipulator dedicated to ridding the world of “felonious fiends and tricky tricksters.”

WARHAUSEN is written by Jason Doring, who released his debut ongoing series The Naked Eye in August 2019, following a successful Kickstarter. Interior art will be illustrated by Megan Huang, a renowned Ontario-based sequential artist and writer whose work has been published by Dark Horse Comics (Jia and the Nian Monster), Image Comics (Life), and Action Lab Entertainment (Double Jumpers, Princeless). Cover art for WARHAUSEN was drawn by Lauren Moran, who has contributed artwork for WWE, Marvel, and Nickelodeon, and drew the iconic "bloody Becky Lynch" print during Lynch's rise to WrestleMania superstardom. Script editing was managed by former Southern California wrestling star Eburonson, who also writes crowdfunded independent comic The 2ndShift.

“This is a dream project for me, as a passionate wrestling fan for nearly 30 years,” stated Doring. “My goal with this comic was to give these larger-than-life characters a new platform and develop a suitably outrageous story for them to inhabit. Fans of action-comedy parodies like The Naked Gun, Hot Shots, and MacGruber will find WARHAUSEN will rule their ass.”

Updates on the project, including the Kickstarter debut date, can be followed on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram at @comicwarhausen. Megan Huang’s art portfolio can be viewed at, and Lauren Moran’s art can be found at The Warhausen wrestling collective will present their own WrestleMania weekend show, WRESTLEVANIA, in Ybor City, Florida on April 4th.
