Look who is back! Another week and another opportunity to show you some kickass comics made by outstanding indie creators. I am once again, Doug Wood, bringing you exciting comics I find on crowdfunding platforms! If you have some extra cash that week and want to support some creators, this will be a great way to help make comics a reality for a lot of newer or even experienced pros right now.

Additionally, I will be shouting out comics that are in the pre-launch phase on their platforms. Pre-launch is a huge period for creators. Not only does it show initial interest in the campaign, but it also allows the crowdfunding platform to identify campaigns that they will want to spotlight come time for launch. That is huge for campaigns as the algorithms can make it hard to find fresh books. If you have any interest in a book, please consider clicking to be notified of launch. Not only is it exciting to find creators running their first ever crowdfunding campaign, its also exciting when you see they clearly took the time to do the research of how to run one. Comic writer Alex Bott appears to being doing everything in his power to make Puddle Jumpers one hell of a memorable comic. Pairing with incredibly skilled artist Vicky Chen has made this comic a must see.

The team has the comic complete and ready to send to backers upon successful campaigning. This is a shorter comic, which is only offering a digital product for. I think it's smart for a newer creator, who is getting his feet wet in the space. At the time of writing the campaign has yet to hit its small goal.

PUDDLE JUMPERS

Some times you have to scroll the crowdfunding website for hours to find something exciting to show off and sometimes the books pop up right inside the Comic Book Yeti discord server! When artist Gerald Von Stoddard showed of his cover for Ice & Bone I knew I needed to seek this campaign out. The series is a continuation to one already published through the direct market. Boasting some absolutely stunning pages, this book is worth your eyeballs!

This campaign has hit around half of its goal and will need some help to hit the finish line.

ICE & BONE

Just as this campaign came across the Yeti discord server another campaign came to my attention through another discord I am in, Date With A Demon. EC Cotton showed off one of the most impressively colored comics I have seen. Not only was the coloring striking, the pages previewed on the campaign page are crafted by a masterful artist. I cannot show off much due to its nsfw nature, but if you are into to that sort of work, you owe yourself to seek

this out.

This immaculate comic has already reached its goal. So consider jumping in now as you are guaranteed a copy once funded.

DATE WITH A DEMON

I don't typically cover projects on crowdfunding platforms outside of comics, but I was asked to check out a superhero adjacent prose anthology and I am bringing it before you to also check out. Where Legends Walk boasts more than 30 short stories from just as many writers. At the time of writing the campaign has hit its goal. So consider supporting this book as it is now guaranteed you will get the book.
