With these articles I like to show off campaigns that have yet to reach their goal. This week campaigns have reaching their targets left and right. It's a bit light for live campaigns to show off, but never fear, there are so many new campaigns being announced! I am once again, Doug Wood. If you have some extra cash that week and want to support some creators, this will be a great way to help make comics a reality for a lot of newer or even experienced pros right now.
Additionally, I will be shouting out comics that are in the pre-launch phase on their platforms. Pre-launch is a huge period for creators. Not only does it show initial interest in the campaign, but it also allows the crowdfunding platform to identify campaigns that they will want to spotlight come time for launch. That is huge for campaigns as the algorithms can make it hard to find fresh books. If you have any interest in a book, please consider clicking to be notified of launch. Even if you don't have money at the time of launch, it helps enormously!
CAMPAIGNS LIVE NOW!
Orange Cone Productions is back with their 35th campaign! Writer Travis Gibb and Rolands Kalniņš delve into the suspense with Bubble Gum Razor. The story revolves around a successful murder mystery podcast host getting wrapped up in the murders he once solved.
Rolands Kalniņš art direction and color palettes are the perfect fit for this genre. The campaign is running out of days to back it and it has yet to reach its goal. Now is the time to back it and help these creators see their vison realized.
Scott Snyder's The Cloak Room returns for the 5th entry in the series. An anthology made up of creatives that have taken his writing class. The previous entries have housed some now impressive names in indie comics.
One example on the page is Spelling Bee by Aaron Cohen and Alex Schumacher. The art looks deviously violent and fun! At the time of writing the campaign has not reached its goal, but the good news is they have plenty of time to get there. Help them out if you can!

Creator Patrick Lugo is bringing his unique vison to his next exciting project Undead Kungfu Ghost Killer. Easily spotted for its influences, but driving to do something interesting in the pages, this campaign has already gained a Project We Love Badge from Kickstarter.

Oz books are always hot on Kickstarter and I imagine this new book by Dead Hours to be no exception. A Great and Terrible focuses on a young 20 somethings bad decisions are about to crack open something bigger than she is ready for.

Creators Louis Southard and Devlin Baker are firing on all cylinders as of late. Exciting to see the pair team up for Laugh Riot, what could possibly be a series destined for awards in the coming years.
