It's time to visit HELL with a new addition to the Archie series from multiple Eisner Award-nominated writer Patrick Horvath (Beneath the Trees Where Nobody Sees) and Russ Manning Award-winning artist Tyler Crook (Out of Alcatraz, Harrow County). Archie in Hell #1 drops on November 4th and will receive a special PYRE SATANIC variant cover by Chloe Brailsford (Lobo, The Deadman), alongside Archie #1 & Sabrina the Teenage Witch #1.

“Getting the opportunity to work on this book has been a series of pleasant surprises,” said writer Patrick Horvath. “When Hunter Gorinson and Sierra Hahn from Oni mentioned the possibility to me, it happened to line up pretty perfectly with my schedule. I just found myself thinking that if I was ever going to do something like this, now was the time. I had also been looking for an opportunity to write a project for another artist. Tyler has been an art hero of mine for a while now and getting to work with him on this has been supremely inspiring.”
“I have always wanted to work on an Archie comic, and I was super stoked when Patrick and Sierra presented me with a story that combined Archie with horror and history,” said artist Tyler Crook. “As an artist who loves period pieces, it gives me something meaty to bite into and provides us a wonderful, interesting and terrifying way to explore these classic characters.”

The special, open-order variant cover matches the two other recently revealed “Pyre Satanic” covers by Brailsford, forming an unholy trinity with ARCHIE #1 and SABRINA THE TEENAGE WITCH #1. FOC for the “Pyre Satanic” variant cover is on Final Order Cut-Off (FOC) on September 28th, with an on-sale date of November 4th, alongside with all other previously announced covers for ARCHIE IN HELL #1.
