The guest line-up for a new comics event in Sheffield, UK - Sheffield Comic ARts Fair (SCARF), being run by writer/letterer/editor Chris Mole (Secrets of the Majestic) - has now been announced.
“I’m really happy with the range of guests who are tabling at this first edition of SCARF. We had several clear objectives in mind when we reviewed the applications: to showcase local creators as well as we could, to curate a diverse list of guests across gender/ethnicity/sexuality lines and to try and provide a space for younger/less experienced creators to table alongside more established names. We’ve also tried to cover the full spectrum of comics creators (from writers to artists, letterers to editors and zine-makers to publishers) to show the diverse range of skills and talents that exist in the comics industry. - organiser Chris Mole
I know we definitely have room to improve for the next event but I hope that this list of extraordinarily talented guests can provide something for everyone who visits in October!”
