A brand new, mythical ongoing series will be dropping from Image Comics and will be available at your local comic book shop on July 30th!! Rising writer ee zann teams up with artist Godfarr to bring you i, Tryant! It's time to get ready for battle and get a special sneak peek at what to expect in the first issue down below!!

The lives of a struggling but madly ambitious Iranian playwright (Hafez Bashee) and an Arab serpent-king from 611 A.D (Zahhak)—once given the power to halt death in its tracks—become reticulated around a non-zero-sum game.
300 and BiRDMAN clash when Zahhak makes his pitch: toss out the unpromising conclusion penned for him in the 7th century. Instead, retell the legend with a Kirby exodus—give his tale a Miller reboot in the comic industry. Hafez must also deal with the risk of deportation to Iran—and a looming whiplash he does not want to face.
"1979 Iran banned comics—and never looked twice. This might be a nonsense song where I come from, but I, Tyrant is a no-nonsense self-portrait of an expat and his ode to Miller, Kirby, and all comics Americana," said zann.
Not only do we have a look at some of the interiors from i, Tyrant, but we also have all the variant covers you can expect to drop with the first issue!!
I, Tyrant will also be available across many digital platforms, including Amazon Kindle, Apple Books, and Google Play, on Wednesday, July 30.
