A new action figure line is dropping from WORDBURGLAR & WANDERING PLANET TOYS
A new wave of collectible retro-styled 1:18 action figures from the collaboration between indie rapper WORDBURGLAR (Voice of STARSCOPE on Transformers BOTBOTS) and Wander Planet Toys is currently live on Kickstarter until October 16th.
Taking inspiration from the 1978 Kenner Toys' Star Wars line, along with their competitor Tomland Toys' Starroid Raiders, each PLANETOID RAIDER will feature 5-points of articulation and will be available on retro-inspired card backs or pre-packed in a metal lunchbox collector case (artwork by Bill Rude.) Wandering Plant Toys' co-founder Chris "Doc" Wyatt will also be teaming up with Chris Anderson (American Caper) for an 8-page mini-comic titled Sloog Interlude.

“Wordburglar is the perfect artist to provide a track for the PLANETOID RAIDERS,” said Doc Wyatt. “His playful and fast-paced music captures the imaginative spirit of these toys. With his clever wordplay and catchy cadence, the Wordburglar is the perfect ambassador for the Planetoid Raiders. And like Neal Adams, he talks in the third person. It’s pitch perfect.”
“If you're on a planetoid you can't avoid The Planetoid Raiders,” said the Wordburglar. “Wordburglar has travelled across the cosmos to rhyme the alarm bells with this intergalactically catchy cautionary tale full of strange star-beings, antisocial androids and klepto-terrestrials!”

ABOUT WANDERING PLANET TOYS
Wandering Planet Toys is an indie toy company run out of a garage, just a few miles from where the TV movie Battlestar Galactica 1980 was filmed. Wandering Planet was launched by two friends and toy fans who spend their days as professional TV animation writers and producers, and their nights putting together toy lines for their collections and yours. Wandering Planet has created officially licensed (Kickstarter Projects We Love) toy lines based on the 1960’s classic British TV series, THE PRISONER, and the original girl detective, NANCY DREW, and the classic film comedians, LAUREL & HARDY.
